5,533 participants,
more than 1,000 volunteers, and numerous
visitors from both Germany and the rest
of the world celebrated the 2004 EuroGames.
The Games took place at the world famous
Olympic Park in Munich from 29 July to
1 August 2004. Mark Tewksbury, Co-President
of the 1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006, had the honour
of co-hosting the opening ceremonies before
an enthusiastic crowd of over 15,000 people.
