Squash competitions will take place over six days
and welcome a maximum of 250 athletes. Players
of all levels may participate. The tournament
will be composed of four divisions, which will
be separated into sub-categories for men and for
women. Each participant will play a minimum of
two games.

These competitions will not be sanctioned.
Squash Canada
rules will be used.
Players don't need any affiliation
to participate.
Participants will be able to register in only
ONE of the four divisions.

The following divisions will be

Some divisions may be combined or run as a round-robin
if there is an insufficient number of a participant
registered.
A tournament with a regular draw
and a consolation will be applied.
All games will be best-of-5.
Depending on the number of registrations,
the organizing committee reserves the right to
change the competition to “best-of-three”
for the early rounds, and “best-of-five”
for the quarter, semi-finals, and finals.
The schedule will be posted here
after the close of the registration period in
April 2006.
Winners of previous matches
will be refereeing following match. Sanctioned
referees will be on-site.
During the accreditation, participants from Canada will be required to show government-issued identification with a photo. For athletes from all other countries, a passport will be the preferred form of identification. Furthermore, every participant will be required to provide his or her participant number.

Every participant in the 1st
World Outgames Montréal 2006 will receive
a participation medal. In recognition of personal
achievement in Squash, there will also be medals
awarded for first, second and third place in each
of the divisions listed above.
