Collaboration
avec Séro Zéro |
|
Montréal
2006 will be working in partnership with
Séro
Zéro and
Montréal’s Clinique du
Quartier Latin to develop the health,
medical and prevention components of the
Outgames. The goal of the agreement is
to have the two organisations work together
to establish strategies and systems to
be used during the Outgames to ensure
the health of participants, both in terms
of preventative medicine and medical care.
Action Séro Zéro is an HIV/AIDS
prevention organisation established more
than ten years ago whose mission is to
promote educational activities, prevention
and health with regard to HIV transmission
and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)
within Montréal’s LGBT community.
The Clinique du Quartier Latin
is situated in Montréal’s
Gay Village and Dr. Pierre Côté,
one of its founders, has offered his services
as Medical Director for the Outgames on
a volunteer basis. Dr. Côté
is also on the Board of Directors of Montréal
2006. The clinic has played a vital role
in the LGBT community in Montréal. |
